Jeff Payton

Jeff Payton has appeared in Film and Television roles on USA High, Hang Time, Saved By The Bell, The Perfect Plan, Falling, Lost and Found, Southern Man, and as the character ‘Arnold’ in the WB’s 7th Heaven.  His favorite Broadway and Regional Theatre performances include The Radio City Christmas Spectacular in NYC, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Red Badge of Courage, A Chorus Line, Titanic in 30 Minutes and A Street Car Named Desire.  Jeff graduated from USC with a B.F.A. in Acting and studied at Oxford with the British American Drama Academy and The Juilliard School.  He is a founding member of the Los Angeles based comedy troupe Stand-up Salad.

Darrel Guilbeau is a graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and has several L.A. Theatre credits including Hamlet, Troilus and Cressida, The Trial of the Catonsville Nine, Ourselves Alone, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, The Three Sisters, re:LAX-Stories from an Airport, and Water, Water Everywhere (ADA nomination, Supporting Actor Drama). His film and television credits include Windtalkers, directed by John Woo, Alias (ABC) with Jennifer Garner, and the HBO series The Comeback with Lisa Kudrow. He can also be heard in the English versions of several popular Japanese Anime.

 
     
   
 
   
Derek Allen

Derek Allen, originally from upstate New York, is a graduate of the University of Rochester, NY where he received a degree in Biology. Since moving to Los Angeles Derek has since been very active in the local theatre scene as a member of The Colony and The Blue Sphere Alliance theatre companies. His television credits include Like Family with Dianne Farr and the pilot Thunderdome.

 
Matthew Shaffer

Matthew Shaffer began his acting career in Southern California. He attended the prestigious Orange County High School of the Arts before continuing formal training in New York.  Recent Film and TV credits include Mona Lisa Smile, Law and Order SVU, All My Children and a lead role in the independent movie Feet Afire due in 2006.  On Broadway Matthew performed in The Radio City Spectacular, Tess’ Last Night, On A Clear Day You Can See Forever and alongside Rosie O’Donnell, Andy Williams and Debbie Boone.  Most recently he performed with Jason Alexander on TBS presents Earth To America, and on the hit CBS drama Cold Case.  Matthew is a founding member of the comedy ensemble Stand Up Salad based in Los Angeles.

Justin Mortelliti, originally from southern New Jersey is a graduate of Rutgers University: Mason Gross School of the Arts and has also studied and performed overseas at the London Academy of Theater. Justin relocated to Los Angeles four months ago after spending three years working in New York. Justin recently filmed a co-starring role in the hit CBS show Numb3rs and can be seen in leading roles in the independent films Not the End of the World, Quickies, Calling in Sick and Youth of the Nation. Justin was also made into a video game character by way of motion picture capture for Rockstar Game's upcoming Bully.

America’s Favorite Fast Talker, John has performed worldwide, completed over 750 commercials (including Fed Ex, Micro Machines), starred in four network television series, appeared in over 1000 TV shows, films and plays, released two “best selling” audio cassettes (10 Classics in 10 Minutes / 10 Minute University), worked for over 500 corporations, and created the Motor Mouth board game. He has won dozens of awards including the Clio, been honored by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, and named the Most Effective Spokesman in the History of Advertising. Sherry Mattson

Sherry Mattson is originally from Huntington Beach.  She graduated from South Coast Repertory's Professional Conservatory and studied acting at Orange Coast College and UC Irvine.  Most recently she wrapped two films for the American Film Institute.  She has appeared in commercials and is a member of Theatre Neo.  In 2002, she wrote and produced her own short film, Plugged In, which appeared in Festivals in 2003.  It can be viewed at video.google.com.

Alex Garner graduated from the University Of California, San Diego with a degree in Political Science. After graduation he continued working in grassroots political organizing,  locally and nationally. He also was a freelance writer musing about various political and cultural topics. A few years ago Alex left the political arena to fully devote himself to an acting career. He has studied at the Groundlings and is a founding member of The Gay Mafia Theater Company.  His recent credits include, Joni and Gina's Wedding, Outlaugh, the Gay Mafia's Queer Comedy Night and the film Flirting With Anthony.

RYAN GAWEL graduated from the University of Tulsa with two (2) degrees including a minor in theatre. He came to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career and for graduate school.  Ryan has appeared in different projects, including the films Pump Fake and Rule Number One.  He is currently studying with Brian Reise.

 
Michael Laurie

Born on the South Coast of England and trained at R.A.D.A,  and Harlequin Studio’s Michael Laurie had a recurring role on TVS in Gentlemen & Players and Tattoo. Michael was also a regular on the Variety Circuit as one half of the comedy duo Scott Free. Laurie continued his studies at The Actors Institute in NYC and graduated from the Ruskin School in Santa Monica after studying the Meisner technique. Michael has toured the US as a stand-up comic and recently enjoyed an extended run at the royal theatre on the Queen Mary as a member of the improv group, improv X-ing, A founding member of the Ruskin Group theatre and producer of The LA Café Plays, Michael Laurie has numerous theatre and independent film credits including: The Fir Tree, Mitigating Factors, Night Swim, Career, The Unsinkable Titanic, Androcles and the Lion…… and will be appearing in The Globe’s production of Comedy of Errors throughout the summer.

David Pickup has appeared in Musical Theater, Film, Television, and Podcast roles on Outlaws, Pearl Harbor, Arrest and Trial, Into the Woods, Houston Opera, and is currently a co-host on The Homecast Show, a new podcast-only internet show. David graduated from the University of South Florida with a BA in vocal performance, and from National University with an MA in Psychology. His major contribution in life is through his career as a psychologist. He has a great love of acting, and his expertise in understanding human psychology is a major component in creating his characterizations. As an actor, he studied with Michael Kearns of Los Angeles.
